Delivery Events are used to differentiate them from standard scheduled deliveries. These differences are highlighted to drivers on the mobile system.
For example, when a site is having their first ever delivery the equipment being serviced may need to be installed. The driver would need to know this when loading the van so they can take the appropriate equipment.

Any delivery events manifested in Service Manager are automatically synced to the mobile app; exactly the same as normal delivery items. They are also signed for at the same time as the normal delivery items, the receipts will detail the different service types accordingly.


There are several different event types:
Event Description
Install Items that require installation or fitting.
Collection When an item is being cancelled you will add a collection if that item needs to be collected; for example, if the items are rented.
One-Off Any additional items that need to be added to a delivery, but only once. For example, some samples of a new product.
